NEW YORK, NY— May X, 2018—Arch Companies (“Arch”) is pleased to announce the hiring of Project Manager William Conway and Financial Controller Yechiel Lehrfield. Since launching earlier this year and opening the firm’s New York headquarters, the Arch team has acquired properties nationally in California and Miami and continues to rapidly increase its reach, hiring industry experts like Conway and Lehrfield to assist in its expanding efforts.
An Expert in Finance and Accounting
An experienced financial controller, in his former position with Lantree Developments in New Jersey, Lehrfield directed the portfolio-wide accounting department’s daily financial operations, comprised of multi-family mixed-use and development assets. He was responsible for budgeting and updating proforma analysis based on market fluctuations in addition to funding and schedule revisions, cash flow projections for cash requirements on development and for investor distributions & funding Capex projects on stabilized assets. Before Lantree, Lehrfield worked with Northwind Group in NYC as a Financial Controller and Northeastern Logistics in Kearny, New Jersey as a Financial Manager after continuing studies in Business Management, Accounting and Finance for CPA licensure with Brooklyn College. Lehrfield holds a bachelor’s from Farleigh Dickinson University with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
A Proven History of Project Management Excellence
Conway brings his expertise from working on a $210 million major gut renovation with HFZ Capital, in which he managed MEP infrastructure replacement and steel structural modifications while maintaining continuity of services for the building’s existing tenants. He built in-depth schedules with project teams to determine critical path items and reviewed proposals and change orders for value and scope before final award and approval. Before HFZ, Conway worked with Magnetic Construction Group Corp. on the Renovation of the Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square and TD Bank’s Manhattan Branch Expansion Program. Conway worked as an Assistant Project Manager with HRH Construction LLC and a Project Accountant with STV Incorporated after earning his Master of Business Administration – Project Management with Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from Norwich University.
